2025: Growth, Engineering Impact, and Shaping the Future at DEXET Technologies
As 2025 draws to a close, it’s been a year of real progress and strategic groundwork for everyone at DEXET. From key hires to high-profile collaborations and deepening technical capability, this year marked both consolidation and momentum.
A New Home and a Milestone Celebration
After launching our new Surrey headquarters in 2024, 2025 marked a year of fully settling into the space and putting it to work. It has since become the hub of DEXET’s activity - supporting R&D, engineering collaboration, and day-to-day delivery - while also serving as a physical reflection of where the business sits today as a specialist design engineering and simulation partner in high-performance industries, from Formula 1 to low-volume bespoke automotive programmes.
In the spring, we celebrated our 5-year anniversary in this very space, bringing the team together to reflect on a half-decade of engineering excellence and to thank the people - past and present - who have made the journey possible.

Team Growth: Strengthening Our Technical Backbone
2025 also saw the continued growth of the DEXET team. We were pleased to welcome new full-time engineers who bring fresh perspectives and capability to our core work streams - including composites design, simulation, and project delivery. Their arrival has expanded our ability to innovate with our clients and to tackle more technically demanding challenges as our pipeline evolves.
Additionally, this summer we welcomed another Georgia Tech intern into the fold, part of our ongoing relationship with the university and its student motorsport programme. This collaboration remains an important avenue for both mentoring emerging talent and staying close to cutting-edge engineering thinking.
Supporting Future Engineers: Georgia Tech and Formula Student
Our ongoing relationship with HyTech Racing and GT Motorsports at the Georgia Institute of Technology continued throughout 2025. As an active sponsor of the team, we’ve been proud to support their progress both on and off track. This year, HyTech Racing celebrated strong results, achieving its best-ever finish at FSAE Electric, taking 1st place in Acceleration, 2nd in Design, and 3rd overall. Meanwhile, GTMS also impressed on the global stage - securing 3rd overall at the Internal Combustion competition at FSAE Michigan.
It’s partnerships like these that remind us of the vital role engineering education and hands-on experience play in shaping the next generation of technical leaders. By engaging with top-tier university programmes, we are not only investing in future talent but also broadening our own perspective through fresh, inquisitive minds working alongside our team.
Project Highlights: Design, Simulation, Composites, and Beyond
On the client work front, 2025 continued to reinforce DEXET’s reputation in specialised engineering domains. We were engaged across multiple Formula 1 and Formula E programmes, alongside a wider range of high-end, low-volume automotive projects. Our expertise spans advanced simulation, composites engineering, project management, and specialist part sourcing - core capabilities that allow us to support ambitious clients in performance-led industries.
A notable achievement this year involved the design of nearly 5,000 individual components across our clients - a testament to both the trust placed in our team and the scale of work we are able to undertake.
Looking Ahead: Focused Growth and In-House Capability
Looking towards 2026, the strategic focus is clear. We will be prioritising high-performance engineering projects, while our leadership team continues to define the next phase of growth for the company. One of the key themes emerging from those discussions is the goal of bringing greater technical ownership and delivery capability in-house, allowing DEXET to expand from design and engineering consulting into more integrated solutions that bridge concept and fabrication.
We’re deliberate about how we communicate this evolution - but for now, we’ll simply say that 2026 will bring exciting opportunities for enhanced delivery and deeper client engagement. Watch this space.
As we close out 2025, we are grateful to our clients, partners, and team members who have helped shape such a productive and forward-looking year. From celebrated student engineering teams to seasoned project partners and new colleagues, it’s the collective effort of this community that drives DEXET forward.
2026 will be about building on what we’ve achieved, scaling our impact, and delivering engineered excellence across every project we undertake. Here’s to another year of purposeful innovation.
